QVSource: The QlikView & Qlik Sense API Connector (Docs)

We do not yet have a dedicated connector to Trello but you can access it easily using our General Web Connector.

First, when logged into Trello you should go to:
https://trello.com/app-key

As explained here and note the API Key:

Now browse to the following URL, first replacing {API_KEY} with the API Key just found. Note that you can also replace MyApp if you like.

https://trello.com/1/authorize?key={API_KEY}&name=MyApp&expiration=never&response_type=token

Follow the authorisation steps:

And you should receive an API access token which does not expire:

You can now use the key and token values derived above in conjunction with the API docs to build requests which can then be plugged into QVSource which can convert the JSON data returned by the Trello API either into XML for native parsing by QlikView or Qlik Sense or even into structured QVX tables.

As an example, here we see that the search API end point can be used to make a simple query using this format:

https://trello.com/1/search?key={API_KEY}&token={API_TOKEN}&query={QUERY_STRING}

Entering this into the General Web Connector we can get the response as XML which can be loaded directly into QlikView or Qlik Sense via the URL provided by QVSource:

Alternatively, by entering suitable XPATH we can also pick out a table containing the data we are interested in and have the load script generated for us:
